*Just to see you smile I'd do anything that you wanted me to.* -Tim

I talked to David for a big minute last night. It was good. This summer we had a lot of fun hanging out, before things got all weird 'cuz he was getting married and stuff. I wish girls weren't so protective-slash-insecure, 'cuz it really ruins a lot of friendships. Girls suck.

Apparently my friends were going to throw me a surprise birthday party, but we don't dig on those so much, so last night before David and I talked, I checked my messages and here's what I heard: [Message one received at one-thirty am] Hi, it's me (Mel.) Just wanted to let you know that I was going to throw you a little surprise birthday party, but those are lame. Give me a guest list and we'll have a party Monday night at my apartment. Peace out.
[Message two received at one-thirty am] Oh, also, I'm getting married. Start deciding what you want to wear. Peace out.

Melanie likes to pretend she's getting married. We also say 'peace out' like it's our job.

I LOVE my banner group. They did such a kick ass job.

I don't have much else to say. Just this, a quick note to my pals in Virginia:

Dear Virginia:
Any "mountain" that is indeed only 3,000 feet tall does not count as a mountain. The Rockies will eat that for breakfast. Especially one "Buffalo Mountain." Valerie suggests you rename it to Buffalo Bump.
Thanks for your time.

XOXO,
Sara

Also, "your mom" jokes never get old, if told correctly.
